Our home.
Built in 1982 very close to the centre of Tegueste, it is our meeting place, where our entire family and friends gather and where we celebrate our special moments.
La Casa de la Orilla is our home.
We have our best memories here and we all feel welcomed under the motto that you will see when you are in the House, which is “To live is to share”
We would like you to enjoy your special moments ,just as we have done and continue to do, and also the sunsets, gentle summers and the privileged climate of the north of the island, in an environment full of nature, privacy and calm.

The house is situated on a 25,000 m² grounds, 1 km from the village of Tegueste and 7 km (approximately 7km by car) from San Cristóbal de La Laguna, the second most important city in Tenerife which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.
The property is located on one of the slopes of the mountains that form the Anaga range, a rural area with views of the sea and Mount Teide, where the sunsets seen from the garden are spectacular.

We have a porch with tables that surrounds the house on two sides. All surrounded by trees and palm trees that make the garden an intimate place with wonderful views.
For those who are more active there is a padel and a basketball court at the back of the house and in a corner of the garden, we built a wooden playhouse for the children.
There are two shower rooms to refresh yourself after playing in the garden or going for a walk.

The living area features a fireplace and large sofas for relaxing. There is also a space with two tables near the entrance where you can play dominoes or your favourite game. Nearby, you will find a guest toilet.

Cooking is always an excellent excuse to gather around the table, enjoy food, and share stories.
Having space is essential. The kitchen, fully equipped and generously spacious, accommodates a large table along with a smaller rectangular one. In the adjoining utility room, crockery, glassware, and kitchenware are comfortably stored and kept in view.

On the upper floor, there is a living room open to the ground floor through the staircase.
You will find a double room with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom (room and bathroom 1 on the plan). Room 2 has a double bed and a cot, while room 3 has single beds. These last two rooms share a bathroom. Also on this floor, there is a space for the TV with two snug sofas.

You are in a natural environment: Remember that this house is in the countryside, so you may encounter ants and small geckos that occasionally visit us.
Working farm: We are a productive farm, so our staff will be working hard from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, always respecting the environment and privacy of the house.
Community guidelines: Please ensure that you respect the rest periods of our neighbours from 10 PM onwards. No parties or events.
Smoke-free space
Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not permitted. The house is equipped with smoke detectors to ensure safety.
Sorry, no pets
Please note that pets are not allowed in the house. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in preserving this beautiful place.

The house is available for rent for a minimum of 5 days and for 7 people. Please note that we do not allow celebrations.
Feel free to ask us for more information or if you require an extra bed. We have a complimentary cot in one of the rooms.
